Chances are you might not like to use Evolution as a default email client on Ubuntu. So here is an easy solution to set Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or Zoho mail as your default email client.
Desktop Webmail (can be installed from Ubuntu Software Center) is a simple program that provides a webmail configuration dialog to choose and set your preferred webmail provider. Thus clicking any email hyper links in any software or web-browser will open up your compose email box instead of Evolution Mail.
