You have a nice, well managed music collection and some nice playlists. Now looking for a way to sync the same with your new music player (or new Android device) ? Well, it is much easier than you would have imagined to sync your favorite playlists with your music player on Ubuntu (Linux). Rhythmbox (the default music player on Ubuntu – also favorite of most) handshakes brilliantly with the audio players or ANY pendrive or other USB devices.
Just right click on the USB Device/ audio player (or your Android phone) you want to sync and select Properties.
Click on Sync tab.
Select the playlists you want to sync.
That’s it, it is really that simple . Also, next time when you connect the device, then only select "Sync with Library" and your playlist with all the changes will sync automatically.
